Amanda Constable
Wombats Educator
3 & 4-year-old

Amanda joined Arrabri in 2010 and has many years' experience delivering kindergarten programs, both in a long day-care and sessional kindergarten settings. Amanda is Bachelor qualified and currentl our Nominated Supervisor.

Johanna Curtain
Kangaroos Educator
4-year-old

Johanna has been teaching at Arrabri since 2011 and holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies from the University of Melbourne. Prior to joining Arrabri, Johanna worked at a long daycare centre for 7 years. She is creative and enjoys art-based projects. As part of her teaching philosophy, she believes children’s social and emotional skills are very important in the development of their dispositions and school readiness. Johanna is also passionate about providing a welcoming environment that respects diversity, inclusiveness. she is currently the Educational Leader at Arrabri.

Kailey Batchler
Wombats Educator
3 & 4-year-old

Kailey joined the team at Arrabri in 2013. She has previously worked in childcare. Kailey has recently welcomed her second child, and is on maternity and long service leave. We expect her to return during 2024. Kailey is a caring, nurturing person and enjoys fostering children's development, and extending their skills and learning in readiness for school.

Chantel Collings
Wombats Co-Educator 
3 & 4-year-old

Chantel holds a Diploma in Children’s Services and started at Arrabri in 2009, then left our kinder in 2015 before returning again in 2021.

Chantel loves the team and community at Arrabri, and enjoys helping children grow and learn. Chantel is a nurturing and caring co-educator.

Marita Mills
Kangaroos Co-Educator 
4-year-old

Marita has been in this role at Arrabri for over 10 years and has worked alongside Johanna for all this time. For Marita, Arrabri represents her love and passion for community, and she feels privileged to be a part of it. She finds her role rewarding because of opportunity to walk alongside the children as they explore their own interests and develop their self-confidence. Reaching the end of the kinder year and witnessing the children's growth is fulfilling for Marita.

Rachelle Bartels
Kangaroos Co-Educator  
4-year-old

Rachelle has been at Arrabri for 4 years and enjoys the community feel and close-knit team that she works with. She loves making connections with the children she works with and their families. She enjoys encouraging the children to give things a go, setting up engaging play spaces, and supporting their learning through fun experiences.

New in 2024

In 2024 we welcome two new co-educartors to Arrabri:

  • Vickie Butler is a 3 and 4-year old Wombats co-educator.

  • Rachelle Zinnow relieves our other teachers and co-educators each day so they can take a well-deserved lunch break.

We look forward to introducing them to you more completely soon.
